The Air Volume (VAV) Controllers are utilised as a digital control device for single duct, twin duct, fan-powered, and supply/exhaust systems.

The volume of air is the amount of space it takes up. The amount of air that moves through a fan, duct, or system in a unit of time - the air speed - is known as the air volume flow rate.

Most of the most crucial components of climate control systems go overlooked. This is due to the fact that they are required to do so. Any ventilation system's principal purpose is to make people feel comfortable without causing them any discomfort. In a building, the air distribution system is responsible for maintaining adequate levels of comfort in terms of air quality, temperature, and moisture level while using the least amount of energy possible. , system is an example of such a system. A VAV system is an air distribution system that provides one exact temperature of air to each space in a building while also controlling the temperatures within the structure by adjusting the amount of air delivered to each location.

If the Air Volume Controllers valve is functioning properly, it will use the pressure fluctuations induced by the water pump cycling on and off to automatically supply air to the water tank as needed. These water tanks require makeup air because the air charge in the tank is absorbed into the water over time

A device fitted in the ventilation duct is the air volume control. Indoor climate processing, air flow regulation, and closure functions are all performed with these machines. constant air volume are the two types of air volume controllers. The constant air volume controller produces constant airflow at a variable temperature, whereas the variable air volume controller produces variable airflow at a constant temperature.

When there is too much air in the system and the water level is low, the float opens the control's primary valve, allowing the air to escape. The main valve will close when the float rises in response to the rising water level. The remaining air in the tank will be trapped.

The air volume control, or "AVC," device is designed to automatically add air to the water pressure tank when it is needed (typically on older steel water tanks that do not use an internal bladder to keep water and air separate).

When a water tank loses its air charge, it stops working properly, which causes the water pump to switch on and off quickly, causing "short cycling." As a result, the water pump may be damaged or even burnt out.
